The Hong Kong fitness industry has experienced robust growth in recent years. However, similar to many other countries, the competition within the fitness industry is high and different fitness centers or companies require lots of capital and efforts in order to maintain their competitiveness in the fitness industry. Thus, there is a need for consolidation within the fitness industry.
In order to catch this valuable opportunity, MINITZ was formed. MINITZ is a fitness platform for occasional users that offers various flexible pricing models, broad access to the fitness centers and fitness products. We aim to connect fitness centers and gym users to create a world where everyone can hit the gym freely without any unnecessary restrictions and burdens. We hope to create an ecosystem for both gym users and fitness centers in hopes of solving their current constraints.
Mission Statement
The slogan of MINITZ is “Workout at Anytime in Any Place” and the vision of MINITZ is to create “A World where Everyone can Hit the Gym Freely without any restrictions and burdens”. MINITZ hopes to provide various flexible pricing models and broad access to fitness centers to all users around the globe.

Company History
The original idea of MINITZ came from Kevin. When Kevin was an exchange student in the United States, he found that the vacancy rate of hotel fitness rooms is very high due to 2 main reasons: hotel guests will not use the fitness service while they are staying in the hotel & hotels seldom offer packages for the outside visitor to use their fitness service. Thus, Kevin thinks that there is a business opportunity to link up the demand and supply of the fitness service. After a series of discussions with other team members, MINITZ (Formerly known as “Freeness”), which is an online marketplace providing various flexible pricing models to link up gym users with fitness centers, has evolved.
